I am 99% sure Keates will not be Wrexham manager next season. He'll be a goner and we will see in excess of 5k season tickets being sold because a) we've missed it; and b) we want to be part of the journey.

We need to get the entire football organisation set-up right and that takes time. Keates will be gone soon enough, so be patient. Director of football? Manager? Coaches? Youth system? From what ive read, I expect the new owners, their advisors and future CEO will be be thinking of how we can target the greatest medium to long term success, and not pannicking about the immediate season, given we’re unlikely to go up or down.

We’ve also seen first hand that appointing the wrong manager puts a team back 12 months or more. The next managerial appointment could be the most important in our history, let’s take the time and get it and the entire football set-up right. If we do, we’ll be out of this hell hole next season, hopefully in attacking football style.

Hard to disagree with AndyCobra there. I'd expect the CEO to take a good look around before making his decision. That being said, I don't see much harm in getting rid of Keates and putting someone in temporary charge. Maybe the owners will see it as a bit of a waste of money.

Either way, I've resigned to us not going up this year as I don't think we have the players to do it so I'm in no rush, however much Keates annoys me.

I know they say never go back but would love to see Joey back in some capacity with the youth set up. Maybe not as a coach but certainly a mentor to the youth or just be seen around the place would be a lift. Imagine getting advice off someone who won pretty much everything in English/European football. Bit better than Andy Davies the PE teacher.

Sending the screenshot and tweet was a bit cringe and tinpot. Especially when the only tweets off the account were for that purpose.

R&R have a man on the ground in Ker, and I'd be amazed if he didn't look on here and facebook groups and twitter a few times a day to get the lay of the land. That's his job as the local liaison. Let them run the club, they've got a plan, rather than thinking we're a shower of bastards who are pestering them and psychos. And not in the Gary Bennett way.
