Think it’s just been so obvious, for so long, that this was a key area of concern.

Hard not to be frustrated when it will be a serious Achilles heel that we have the best defence and strike force, but a midfield that you can just walk through.

I know it’s not the done thing to praise Mark Griffiths around here but he was saying that the defensive system Parkinson employs will take some getting used to for the players and when it goes wrong we look exposed in Midfield, was an interesting listen.

Maybe with some more time training together we will get better there.

True, and I do think that we have enough as it stands to stay in the leading pack until January. Then we can strengthen again and hopefully get to the top.

I wonder if French can be converted into a sitting midfielder. He’s got a good engine and is strong enough to cope defensively.
