Last year's team finished 8th, we will be right up there without a doubt this time. We are absolutely stacked at the back and have depth up front. Only places we are lacking depth in are the goalkeeper and non-attacking midfielders, which should be enough to get us through to January.

You make a good point but I’m not sure Paul Mullin is better than Anthony Jeffrey.

How well the squad is gelling. If we are top 6 come the end of September we have a real good chance of pushing on to January with the way the fixtures are and pushing for top spot.

As pointed out earlier we have got points from fixtures we didn't last year already

Also we will have funds available for the Jan transfer window.

I really wouldn't be surprised if we still sign 1 or 2 more.

There are still players unattached who would have been holding out - emyr hughes someone pointed out

There will have been players who were pushing for a move which didn't come off so mutually terminated before the window closed.

Would have wanted another GK more than this illusive CDM we keep craving.

Not sure if we can loan players out to wpl?
Surprised Bickerstaff and austin haven't gone out.
Redmond may still be loaned to nln but PP may just want to keep as many players as possible.

We are million times better than last season but so is the league.
