Probably, but he was far behind both as a footballer.
It was the Board’s fault for bringing him back; mostly because we didn’t have the resources to chase a better candidate. Water under the bridge!

I didn't want to see DK reappointed but I won't be disrespecting him now he's gone.
In life and in football, the most we can ask is for a person to do their best. It might not prove to be good enough but if they give 100% we can't ask for anything more. DK did his best, both as a footballer and manager, in his role as manager he was found wanting but it wasn't through lack of effort. |
