Perhaps apologise now you know the truth?

Maybe the club can officially complain to the club/league much like the Torquay incidents or are they different because they happened inside the stadium?

Either way complete unacceptable hope the oxygen stealers get caught and banged up
Disgraceful as it is, and it is horrendous. Clare Rd is out of the remit of the stadium/club. It’s on the way to the town centre and I don’t know how/what the club could do/have done to stop it from happening. I hope we do issue a statement asking for witnesses. But don’t think the club should be sanctioned from lowlifes who may not even been to the game.

My son was punched in the side of the head but suffered no injuries while his friend had his jaw broken, nose cut and needed to spend the night in a+e. Shortly after a fellow wrexham fan had his mirror kicked off his car and a bottle was thrown landing just in front of me.

If anyone has any information to share, other than blaming innocent kids, then please dm me.
I walked up Clare Road after the game and did see a small gang of about 10/15 youths/young men coming up Hope hall Street. When I saw them I certainly formed the opinion that they were looking for trouble and they did turn left down Clare Road heading back towards the ground.

Unfortunately (or possibly fortunately) I wasn't close enough to be able to identify any of them and I'm sorry to hear you got caught up in their malign intentions.

Maybe the club is not at fault, but don't try to explain it away as "not fans"

Sounds like you have the same element as we do but hitting kids is another level of scum.

Let’s see if Halifax fc and their Police hopefully put as much effort into finding those responsible as our club did ref Torquay. Every single social media platform was in meltdown over that, let’s do the same so these cowards are found.

My 19 yr old son drove up by himself and was a few seconds behind this and basically said a load of Halifax randomly attacked fans until more Wxm appeared. There’s elements in every club up for trouble but even by their standards this would sicken them. Hope the young lad gets better soon

Sorry my apologies. Usually there is for games like this a decent amount of police around the Clare Rd area as that is where the mixing of fans occur. I personally was parked in main car park. But I’m curious as to how far up Clare Rd it was. And being so close to town centre how is their not cctv everywhere…

Yep I thought we much, agree this is technically out of the remit of the club but who the flip attacks school kids and breaks their jaw? This could literally scar the poor lad mentally and physically for the rest of his life

I’ve messaged the club on Instagram to see if they can at least send the lad a signed shirt/meet some of the players. Doubt they’ll read it or get back to me but worth a go and probably easier than the 85 working day wait if you email them

It was at the junction of Clare Road and Hunger Hill so literally opposite the ground. For Wrexham fans who don't know Halifax it was the equivalent of being attacked on Mold Road or Crispin Lane.

Appreciate this and similar posts from others. I'll let his parents know.
