Thought Hayden had a nightmare, looked yard slow, caught in possession, and he is one of my favourite players. Howard played very well first 20 of second half and seems to have regained confidence. I'm very tired!

We were playing at 50%. Parky definitely told them to just get out of there with no injuries so hard to take anything from that.

You could see Hayden wasn’t playing at full throttle (under instruction?) and wasn’t launching himself at set pieces either. Rightfully so after last week.

McFadzean and Hosannah the standouts for me.

The weather delay certainly sucked the energy out of that,.
Ist half we looked comfortable then poor defending allowed a late equalizer.
2nd half with an entirely different team we were just poor.
No midfield of any note. Constant hoofing. No deliveries for Walters and Palmer.
Howard looked sharp, a couple of good moves from Bryce and I can't really remember anything of note from anyone else.
Conclusion: we missed Mullin!

If that was our back team second half then I hope a couple of new players are coming in this week. I don't think we were purposely playing at 50% they were just not very good.

You need to totally disregard that 2nd half team and display. It should have been called off long before and it was clear the team were just going through the motions playing at 50% & rightly so.

In all my years of playing I never remember any team playing at 50% capacity on purpose.

The delay sucked the life out of the game. Any athlete will tell you that it's tough to stay warmed up even when there's a minor delay, let alone one that lasts hours. Agreed that you can't read a whole lot into the 2nd half display.

But Parky will never play Lee out of midfield as the mullin replacement will he?

I think more questions than answers after that game, surely one answer is to not move Lee from midfield.
