The bigger issue right now imo is they have more guys than even just Mullin on the shelf, and the ones that are left seemingly don't quite all fit together in the puzzle.

We needed a striker before the Mullin injury, and it's going to some time before he's playing and up to speed. There's plenty of word-play in updates on his progress.

His ribs are going to be a target for every opposition player in League 2; he's got to be right before playing.

You just know that Luke Waterfall is going to steam through him when we play Grimsby in a few weeks.

Anyone heard about the extent of Lainton's knock? Have not seen anything about the severity/recovery time (or even what the injury is tbh).

I wouldn’t be surprised to hear him retire before the end of the season tbh.

I think if you retire early you don’t get paid, so I am sure he will see his contract out.
