Nice claim but as the first team were playing away at Brentford in the English Fa cup at the same time surely the fans in west London would be higher up on the pecking order!

The top-est of top reds would have found a way to be at both… :-D

Got a ticket to every single home game I wanted for the 3rd season in a row - only one that was difficult was Stockport, but after 10 minutes one came up.

Personally, buying tickets to away games shouldn't guarantee you tickets to home games. Away games, fair enough - similarly if you go to more home than away, you should get priority over those who do the opposite.

You choose to put your time and money elsewhere, others choose to put it into the club. People who put it into the club deserve first go at the big games.
I’m not going to get into a tit for tat argument with someone I don’t know on the internet. But you don’t know me and can’t guarantee anything about me. What I can guarantee you is that I’ve put more of my time and therefore money into the club when few others were and when it really needed it. And I don’t just mean going to far flung places on a Tuesday night. Far wider than that. But it doesn’t matter. The club will do what the club wants to do and it won’t really bother me but don’t talk about loyalty and the last few seasons in the same breath. They are not remotely the same thing.

Loyalty is clearly a word that different fans define slightly differently, and is easy to use in the context of a scheme to reward those that attend games regularly with a priority for games where demand outstrips availability, even if it may not be specific, or descriptive enough to avoid mis interpretation.
As you say yourself, not getting the ticket priority won't really bother you, but it does bother those that regularly travel the length and breadth of the country.

So no one should be offended by its description as a Loyalty scheme, it's just a scheme to help fans that travel to the less attractive games get tickets when demand is very high.

A loyalty ticket scheme isn’t a top red pissing contest lads. It’s just a way of prioritising who gets first dibs on away tickets.

Some of you are way too defensive.

I think the only people with an issue with a loyalty scheme are those that don't go away all year but want to rock up at Crewe at the end of the season at the expense of someone who's been going up and down the country all year. A

Not if you sat int that freezing cold MRS that day to watch Airbus. Waiting each second for the score to come in from Brentford. You would say you are way up the pecking order.

Only people who were trust members pre R&R should be classed as loyalty fans. Plus any St holders who were not trust members.
