Always going to be winners and losers unfortunately. Remember years ago they used to hand out vouchers at various games to be able to get tickets for big games.
We are world wide now , the fact we can watch live games helps a lot

Perhaps a tenth place finish next season (Humphrey's target) will see attendances drop the season after.

It happened when we were in the old Div.2. Average attendances fell season on season

1977-78 12,272 (Div.3 Champions)
1978-79 10,711
1979-80 9,455
1980-81 6,698
Those figures also include cup games not just league games.

Apparently "Top Red" criteria involves:

- having free access to the internet at 10am on business days
- being unemployed or having a job where you can take Tuesday afternoon off/freewheel on Wednesday morning for Gateshead/Torquay/Alice Springs (A)
- being childless/having kids that don't need ferrying about
- being single/having a very understanding partner
- having no financial constraints

If all of the above applies to you, great, you're a "Top Red". Everybody else, Part-Timer at best.

Yes, I'm being tongue in cheek, but "loyalty" for me isn't about getting to away games, buying season tickets or doing anything which involves throwing loads of money at the club. That just means you've got money to spend and time to spend it.

Were you a member of the WST? In my book, you're a loyal fan.
Never bothered before but been to every game since R&R took over? Get in the queue!
I attended my first game in 1973
I've been a regular fan since 1975/76
I've been a season ticket holder
I was a member of the WST
I've been a sponsor for the last 8 years - back in the days when it wasn't necessarily beneficial to my business
I've been a member since the system was introduced
I didn't have a season ticket when demand exploded and so haven't been able to get one since
I work so rarely have access to tickets when they go on sale or the free time to attend midweek away games
I'm not therefore a loyal fan or a `Top Red'

There were always going to be winners and losers with any change such as the one the club is going through.

Supporting Wrexham AFC for me now and in the foreseeable future is a television-based experience.

Not having a go but how many games have you been to in the last 2 years?

Unfortunately if they are going on the data from both promotion seasons (which is rumoured) to be the case your impressive history of support counts for jack.

Most people that attend mid week away games take time off work to do it. You could do the same if you wanted to. Likewise plenty of Saturday away games weren't sold out this year.

You're only not going to games because of your own choices and priorities.

If I took time off to go to mid week games, and of course, all other games, I would be in the divorce courts ! No thank you.

Spending all your holiday allowance on midweek games is only an option for those with a certain lifestyle.

I think loyalty is being taken out of context. You're obviously a very loyal fan, that's not being questioned.

However, demand has spiralled. I think it's only fair that the fans who are attending the most games, get first refusal for tickets. Others won't agree.

Obviously there's issues with whatever system the club use moving forward. It's certainly not a closed shop though, as some suggest it will become. With the exception of around 4 or 5 games next season, there will be plenty of opportunities to get tickets for away games in my opinion.

If you were not one of the 401 to watch us lose to Airbus with Danny Ward in goal you shouldn't be anywhere near the loyalty scheme
