Re: 55,000 seater stadium
Didn't you have much bigger crowds in the late 70's? Maybe a lot of them were standing room in the old Kop cause I don't know how you could fit in 30-35,000 otherwise, but if you had crowds like that, selling more season tickets now probably isn't an issue unless finances play into it - and the community itself seems to be on the up based on the success of the team and the documentary.

Re: 55,000 seater stadium
The argument of lower attendances if mid table is interesting
Bristol City early 90’s was 9k now 20k Preston 5k early 90’s to 17k Swansea 4k early 90’s to 17k Cardiff 5k to 16k All mid table, all had ups and downs, all built or improved their grounds. Biggest issue is we can’t get them in to get them in the habit now. |

Re: 55,000 seater stadium
We did get bigger crowds, but they weren't huge. For derby matches, games against the bigger teams, and so on, crowds of 16-20,000 were not uncommon. But across an entire season, attendances in the late 1970s hovered around the 10,000 mark or slightly less. In the latter half of the final two seasons, when Wrexham were kicking about in the bottom half of the table, attendances typically dropped to between 6,000 and 8,000 for home games.

I think they could sell out nearly 20,000 a game now |

It's hosted rugby before so it's definitely possible. It's great for the town and it brings in revenue. |
