If you had to design a player Keates wouldn't want in his team it would be Dom Vose. Undoubtedly gifted, but no work rate, bottles tackles, doesn't like challenging for headers, won't track back and his list of clubs says he's probably not someone you'd want in the trenches.

I think Keates' teams will come to be known as hard-working and gritty above all else.

Vose is the anti-Rutherford. Speculating about us signing him is completely pointless as long as Keates is our manager.

Pretty...yes.......pretty ineffective, in my view.
Because he looked good in Gary Mills’s setup (and he was a crowd pleaser then), some think he’s a footballing God, when history shows he can’t cut it week in,week out.

He was the only midfield player on the pitch with a football brain and can pass. It's all about opinions if you prefer the Rutherford type running around a lot and contributing little or the type of player who's can create, I'm not advocating signing him as we are a team of battlers with little individual quality and it seemed to be the manager's preference, but we lack that little bit on brilliance it was a very poor Chester side Woking away will be a test any less than a win won't do.
