I suppose the motto could literally generate our National League fans of the future, should folk find some obliging ladies!

We’ll probably score first, fail to capitalise when on top and throw it away in the last 10 mins

And unlike their grandparents they will probably be watching non-league football.

What a moaning bunch.

1, It's not over yet, hard, unlikely, but not over.
2, No one has a devine right to be out of this league, just because teams are poorly supported it doesn't mean they can't be successful!
3, 20:20 hindsight or permanently predicting failure is the norm here. That's what makes people happy, so when things don't go to plan it's the usual 'I told you so' routine.
4, No one wants the club not to succeed, that goes for every fan, (including board members), the team, management etc etc.
5, Football Manager is very different to real life!
6, Every player we took on came with a reasonable pedigree, some haven't worked out, that's life, it Happens at every level of football, get over it and support your club.

So we might be in this league next year, get over it.
More teams don't get promoted than do!!
"Macclesfield have done it with a smaller budget", and so what? Does that somehow mean every team should slash their budget as that's the best blueprint!!

There is no winning on here, one minute we should dump all the players (a la Macclesfield) the next people ask where is the continuity. All the 'we should sign' or get 'Mr X' talk, presuming it is that easy and people are queuing up to be here. We're in a league where there are multi millionaires and a billionaire backing teams, we have no one jumping up and down saying here you go, blank cheques book!

People were crying out to tie down the defence to longer deals and then recently they're all failing and we're back to dump them again.

Honestly, get a grip!

Yeh...I thought so, it is the fans fault.

You clearly can't read, where does it say that?
I'm saying that a significant number of people on here take great pleasure in things not going well, I don't personally consider them fans.
They're certainly not supporters.

The team haven't performed as we expected them to, do you think they're happy about that?
Do you think they go onto the pitch hoping to lose? To play poorly?

I'm as disappointed as anyone, but turning on the team, the management or the club board cures nothing. I've read they're not brave, but they've tried experienced managers, up and coming and novice managers. Everyone's an expert when it's not their job.

The reality of being a supporter of any football team is mostly disappointment. There can only be a few winners each season. Be nice if it could be us.

You are venting your anger and frustration at the wrong targets. Most on here pay to keep the club going; some more than most.

Folk were rightly saying we weren’t good enough all season. Some thought otherwise; some just hoped for the best. Neither camps have, as yet, been proven correct. I hope we crack it but I suspect we’ll flunk it. Hope I am wrong.

Next season must be a major improvement, as many are asking why they should donate time, money and effort to the cause. Most of that negativity will evaporate as the new season approaches, but we run the risk of not raising enough money to keep the show on the road.

My point is it's our club, if you have a child would you spend your energy telling them how bad they are at maths or English? No, you support them and try and see the best in them and help them. Our club (and those ELECTED club board directors) are trying to give us what we want. Support them in those efforts. If you genuinely believe you can do better, elections are looming for the WST board, stand and do so!
