He couldn't devote the time due his other commitments with Everton BBC and school. Morrell doesn't have the experience or the skill set to be a Director of Football. We need someone who can identify, recruit and retain a target who will fit the club and improve on current staff, and be responsible for youth development. Take away hands-on involvement in actual team selection and have a manager for that. Brian Flynn would be a perfect fit with his track record.

If memory serves me, there was fur and feathers flying over board members getting involved and recruiting players. Wasn't Durrell such a case?
The trouble is, half the fans will go with one option whilst the other half will object and vice versa.
End result is in house fighting and make the Club look silly. Look at last Saturday with fans fighting each other allegedly.
What kind of message/image does that portray?
