Year after year my enthusiasm wains at the prospect of another season in this league. I’m at a point now where I am struggling to motivate myself to go to the games. There is little propect of us competing, and the football we got treated to last year was abysmal.

The political spin doctors in the board room quite simply just piss me off. Target 10000 was ridiculous, as is the #weareoneteam bollocks peddled out after the disaster finish to the season. We are constantly told we are sustainable and the off field side of things is looking bright. Again I’m struggling to see that apart from in the boardroom, how anyone thinks that everything is rosy.

I paid into build the budget, I have bought football tops, tickets, drink in the ground, and I feel sadly let down. Something is wrong when we get the biggest crowds in the league, but don’t compete financially with other clubs.

I’m all for a community club. What I’m not in favour of is a club whose goal is simply existing.

There are plenty who feel exactly the same your not alone. You mention the crowds we had the second highest average attendance and we are being asked for donations on top of renewing our season tickets which as corner flag has said is a bit of a bloody cheek.

I am happy to put a bit extra in if it means Sam can sign some decent players instead of some of the dross I watched last year. It's understandable that it's not for everyone just as WST and fan ownership isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Given the current exit process by a lot then continuity seems to be a real struggle within the club and something that needs to be addressed. Are most on a weeks notice or what?????????

I think the recruitment process is now vital for both Sam and the board as the options are starting to run out.

Agreed. Top bloke and probably clocks up more miles per 90 minutes than anyone else. Still, not quite good enough for a regular place in any team wanting to go up.
