Well looks like we have no choice then and away travel for disabled supporters is a no go as the original thread stated. What if a carer wanted to pay for their travel surely that is allowed?

Of course,there's no law against that.But many carers are there as professional support,and [I would assume] not be wanting to pay,to accompany their client on a day out.Therefore ,I would suggest that your point is largely moot.

There is always a choice.

As I suggested, sponsorship could be a possibility to help with the additional costs that most able bodied fans don't need to consider.

Looks like the problem is that the DLO is trying to get away travel at the same cost as the normal ambulant service that the club puts on.
Unfortunately this is not feasible so it looks like the charges for disabled travel will have to double or the scheme folds.
A sad state of affairs and one can only sympathise that the DLO's valiant efforts have thus far been in vain.

Theres been donation offers (crowdfunding) totalling £150 to date from Fieldtown, East Sussex Red and myself.

Thats a pretty good start.
