Re: When did we lose....
[QUOTE=Todd Sweeney;2149696]The facts say the opposite. The club is growing every season. Higher crowds, higher turnover, lower/no losses, a better commercial department, a long term lease at the Racecourse, ground improvements, our own training ground, a coaching structure we seem to be sticking to (perhaps trying to replicate “the Swansea way”). Basically we just need the right manager (easier said than done).
What annoys me about forums and social media is often if people repeat something often enough it gets accepted as fact, even if it isn’t. The likes of Trump and Nigel Farage use the same trick and it is very effective. I feel rather sorry for people like you who cannot resist forcing their biased political views on the rest of us posters who want to discuss football. Go and post somewhere else where your biased views may be appreciated. Biased political views are not welcome on our forum. |

Re: When did we lose....
What a load of rubbish. We haven't 'accepted' anything. We've made some poor decisions, f.ucked up a decent shot at promotion, and have underachieved on the pitch. That's not the same as 'accepting' our fate to remain here.
How are we defining what 'accepting mediocrity' is? If there's not 10,000 threads on RP about how shit we are every time we lose a game? If we're not all booing the players off the pitch after losing a couple of games? Having demonstrations outside board members houses if we finish below 7th? You can be doing everything you can to try to succeed, but if you don't, it doesn't mean you've 'accepted' being poor. There's underachieving and then there's being content with underachieving. Who's content with it? I'd consider myself a happy clapper but I'm far from content. Every time we lose I'm pissed off. Every additional season spent in this division frustrates me no end. Not throwing your toys out of the pram is not equal to an acceptance of where we are. This thread isn't blunt or controversial it's just borderline retarded.

Re: When did we lose....
I'm sorry that I've upset you, Lord Derfyl Cadarn, but Trump does make unproven/incorrect statements on Twitter, often purposefully. As does Nigel Farage. It's well documented and I made no comment on their politics, so relax.
