Is it the DSA that would apply or does the club apply?

It is for the club to apply. Nothing is in place as no plans are agreed.

As far as we know.

I can't help what you think. I could equally say you are the one badly mistaken.

However, we totally agree on the thread topic viz increasing facilities. I also agree regarding the money side but I come at it from a different point of view.

Firstly we are talking about accommodating (some very enthusiastic) supporters ,aka customers once upon a time. A very specific football club issue. This is not a charitable (sorry community) case. What other clubs do or do not do is also irrelevant. WFC first and foremost needs to look after ALL its customers.

Regarding the football expenditure a lot of money has simply been wasted, as you put matters "without resulting in any success".

I believe the way things have been handled is poor and has disrespected the DSA. I also believe a lot of other things have been handled poorly over the last few years.

If this makes me sad in some people's opinion that is their problem. I see it as realism.

Of course it is but this applies irrespective of the ownership model. Community club or not the needs of the DSA need addressing. Those needs certainly would be in your brave new world you hope to see!!!

[QUOTE=Junior Shabadoo;2161868]Wow. If we aren't a community club then there really is no point because we sure as hell aren't very good at just football. It has to be about so much more than that or we'd all just support Man United.

If we were actually a community club we would be a charity and not a football club. It would then focus on its main purpose and probably do a decent job of it.

If the people running the club are as muddled as some RP posters then no wonder "we sure as hell aren't very good at just football" amongst other things.

The topic is about our supporters, present and potential future, not just generally doing good".

So what's your point caller? Because you keep dropping in stuff like "of course these things need to be funded" but that contradicts all the rest of it. What do you actually want?

It's called expressing an opinion. If you think my points are contradictory then that is your opinion not mine.

You aren't though - you're only hinting. You've made a couple of woolly statements that hint at the idea that the club should be focused on games to such a degree that projects like the platform get in the way of it, but with an occasional message of support for the DSA to make it look like you support the project. If you don't support it then at least say so openly.

How many times do you need it!! I support the DSA project 100%.

The only hinting is yours to twist what I have said. It is not contradictory to properly focus in the main purpose and also support the DSA. It is not contradictory to have spent some of the wasted money, even last year, on supporting the DSA.

Again you are the one I am doing the hinting. Apparently that I am effectively duplicitous and cowardly.

Perhaps you are right but I certainly don't need anyone on this forum to telling me what my opinion should be and I certainly have no need to explain myself if I give an opinion. It's my opinion, end of.

It begs the question why you need to express that opinion on this thread. If you think there's waste at the club but not on this project then where is the waste you speak of? I'm more confused than ever about what your point is.
