Re: Team for Sutton
Being a midtable Conference side for nearly ten years makes my club a joke, espcially after spending 87years as a football league club.

Re: Team for Sutton
I will admit I was one with concerns over the squad that Ricketts was compiling through pre season, but I'm more than man enough to admit that as it stands those concerns appear unfounded.
However, we are only 11 games into a long season and a lot can change. I will enjoy the good times as long as they continue (lets hope until April) but at the same time, I am not getting carried away and believing we are as good as up already. As for the original topic. May as well start with the same 11 as we did against Ebbsfleet. |

Re: Team for Sutton
Feel like he'll go with Fondop at least this time, Sutton are one of those big thuggish teams and Sam will set up accordingly. Hard to change a winning team but Sam has struck me as a proactive manager where he scouts the team and sets up to win with the team who will exploit them the best. Rather than being reactive and hoping a winning team keeps winning and only changing when things start going south.

And we will resort to hoofing it forwards to Fondop all game. My reasoning is that if we start with the aim to play football then maybe we can exploit their (hopefully) slower turn of speed at the back and find the gaps to pass it through? We can always bring Fondop on if we are struggling. |
