Too early to have any real idea about the championship, early season form is seldom a true measure of a team who gets their act together through autumn and the winter. SDR has repeatedly said we need to improve. The champions will be a team who do keep improving and we certainly have the potential to get better and stronger, if our younger forwards fulfill their early season promise.

I think everyone has got a bit carried away with our start and after last week's win, but we were never going to be more progressive without being more vulnerable to the odd defeat. Last season's team may have scraped a draw from today but this team are more likely to pick up 3 points more often so lots of work to do for games when we will need to scrap for a point.

Hopefully Carra is fit for Tuesday, if Jenno's back tightens up further, otherwise it's going to be a difficult night but another game where SDR will learn so much about his players.

If constant negativity and “ I know more than anyone else so my opinion counts for for more” is your thing, then yes he is one of the best on here.

But it’s not my thing.

Carra did a 20+ minutes session of jogging and speedwork, after the game, with those who didn't feature today.

Just back and I'll keep it pretty short.
Bad day at the office all around, midfield 3 just didn't work and Sutton picked up everything, none of the players could trap a bag of cement, whether the conditions/surface didn't help I don't know. Sutton fully deserved to be 2-0 up.

I could start a thread in itself on today's ref though. What I will say is that I would be very surprised if the club don't appeal the red card, it was one of those challenges where you try and close down their player and catch them a bit late. A yellow would have been harsh a red was a disgrace and ended the game as a competition at that point.

Squabbling.....

Imagine this: you walk to work, get halfway down the road and step in a turd.

Red passion logic: shiiiiiiyyyyyyiiiiittttttteeeeeee! F this. Man looks at you from over the road. You lob your trainers at him give him a dig, and get one for your troubles. Wreck the neighbours car and start an argument cause they think it's your fault for stepping in said turd. Day goes to sh*t (pun).

You think "How unfortunate" best get to work. Red passion can be an asylum after a loss. Grow up you bunch of flanges.

A penalty, an unfortunate clearance and a sending off. That's done we lost there's a lot of games in this league, stop drawing wild conclusions about the teams inadequacy and look to the next game.

We're doing ok =-)

I would love to know what the ref said to Pearson and Clough before the corner for Pearson to be booked and give away a penalty 20 seconds later. Absolutely ridiculous if he did tug on a shirt or whatever.

we cant make exscuses.. sometimes we will get outplayed or we simply have a bad day and perform badly.

doesnt mean the oposition is a better team everytime we lose

move onto the next game.. if we win that no doubt the doubters will think we are potential world beaters again
