They could and should have sold food / drink from the second kiosk instead of just using it to sell programmes - two lads standing there hardly selling a programme when they could have relocated outside - the kiosk they occupied had fridges full of drinks - if utilized the que would have reduced by half - but quite happy to sell as much ale as they could and not provide toilets in numbers - there is a defined sports & safety guide to the correct number of toilets in relation to the numbers expected to use them - the answer would have been to bring in additional portoloo's - a club cannot lay on facilities one week for the visit of 50 Dagenham & Redbridge fans and then lay on the exact same facilities for over 1400.

There were problems due to the unusually large away following but I expected a horrible experience and, apart from the result, thought it was OK. It's a shame they have been tarred with this "millionaire" status. Salford is a "dirty old town" much like Wrexham so in that sense there is much in common . I found their staff friendly and their ground a damned sight better than places like Alfreton or Solihull. I didn't meet any of their fans but there were no problems were there? It was the game that was crap. At least from our point of view

I also expected trouble and was frankly impressed with the way things were handled. Stewards inside the ground pleasant and they were prepared for and filled the void on the end of the stand when the area behind the goal got overcrowded. Let the lads in the away end come around to there rather than turf them out. Everyone going in frisked for the likes of smoke bombs. Proper restrictions for parking around the ground and cones to keep the road open immediately around the ground . All the away coaches parked right outside the away exit. Police presence along Moor Lane after the match spread out every 20 yds but no trouble at all. Couldn't ask for more.

Granted only going off the highlights on youtube but Lawlor didn't seem to cover himself in glory at all on his return to salford. Looked like he had a poor game.
