Holroyd scored a goal. He must have thought his job was done 'cos he never bothered coming out for the second 45.
Summerfield started brightly but too soon reverted to type, passing back rather than being positive.
Roberts, Weakest link on the field.
Wright, Good in parts but dreadful at times. Can't make this lad out. Makes some useful interceptions and then gives them the ball back.
Oswell. Not fit enough to start.
Halifax. Stole the game, but that seemed to be the way they wanted to play. Pitch was shocking. I've defended dual use of pitches, as far as Rugby league is concerned, in the past but if that's what you get after a few games then I've changed my mind.

Q.R your post is spot on for yesterday the pitch I feel contributed to a lot of the poor passing it quite often changed direction wrong footing players. But the same for both teams, can't fault the effort but we caused our own downfall by continually giving the ball away upfront and in the middle of the park.
I would of liked to see McGlashan on from the start he runs at players and they panicked at the back when he got on it, but too many slow plodders around him, Beavon needs someone alongside him.
Wright should of gone off not Summerfield as Wright was dead on his feet, but McGlashan apart the subs didn't improve on even a poor second half by Holroyd Rutherford I'm sorry works hard but that's it he simply ain't good enough, biggest mystery for me was Carrington dropped to the bench MOM for me on Friday.
