No I can't believe that

In the same year as me was a certain Ian Rush at Richard Gwyn High, Flint - now he was a forward and I was a centre half - the boot was squarely on the other foot every time we 'attempted' to play them - he turned me inside out and did me like a kipper time and time again - he had pace to burn and simply could not be stopped - if we lost 10 - 0 we would just be glad we got 0 !

Just read that Ian Edwards had a hotel in Criccieth - not sure if still there but also heard he was heavily into golfing holiday's.

I stayed at Ian Edwards' B&B in Criccieth the night before my wedding, he came for a few pints with us.

My mam was best friends with Ian's sister Julie, who tragically died at a very young age, I will never forget that morning. His parents still live in the Dreflan area in Mold, they're lovely people.

My old man has gone on and on about that goal for years and the parties he would go to with Ian and different footballers.

Mold Alun had a great school team at that time I am sure we won the Welsh schools cup against a team from Cardiff remember being packed behind the goal on the pitch opposite Bryn Coch when The Alun came from behind to win the cup

Wasnt Fashanu the year before?
Some great goals so its about opinion.
A few great first time or long distance strikes.
Great overhead and a scissors from Garth.
Mariners nowhere near for me.
Was it a viewers vote?
