I don't think Pearson has been as solid as last season but the defence on the whole is not as good, Jennings lacks consistency at the back. Lawlor was better last season but Kennedy slotted in well into central defence when he was out with his dislocated shoulder, he's no fullback I actually think he could play the Walker position but rightback is still a problem, also Lainton is suffering from the weaker defence infront of him.

But the tactics employed by the manager are one major reason we are leaking goals, that and a midfield that stand around ball watching, as for upfront we are simply a joke.

Said the same thing to a friend. No spark in him whatsoever.

Invest in 2 decent midfielders and a decent centre forward and we will be a different team.

I think the priority should be to invest in a decent manager first but that's a pipe dream these days.

Is he better than me? Yes
Is he as good as most say? No

When I think back to my military days we had a saying “he doesn’t mind combat when there’s a loads of people with guns by him because even a pair of my wife’s pants can be brave if there’s some Christmas socks shooting the enemy”.

Pretty sure we can all agree it fits.

You here people wheeling out the ' his legs have gone!' line, like it's goin' out of fashion some times. But I'll tell you what, in the second half against Chorley, they played a ball down our left (after Jenno had bombed forward), and I swear that you could have dug up my grandmother and she'd have cut it out, but Pearson looked like an old nag, who'd pulled far too many wagons, labouring to try and get anywhere near it (to which ends he did not succeed!).

Unfair criticism
He’s probably as peed off as most of us - came here to get promotion and look what has happened

Got my Chorley ticket , anyone know how many reds are expected ?

Hoping for 3 critical points and roll on Aldershot

We are due to turn a corner and escape from the mess we find ourselves in
Sorry for being so positive

Hope we can get on a run like Sutton, who are now only 5 points off the playoffs. To be honest I’d be happy with mid table this season.
