Stockport are showing ambition and must be paying well . These are the 2 reasons they are attracting decent players. We on the other hand are the complete opposite to the 2 reasons .

Wrexham AFC is too busy putting feet in mouths.

Yes our board are far too busy desperately trying to cover their lies, shady dealings and slander to have time to think about putting a team together.

Is I can see it going either 2 ways for us. We will end up signing crap again as we do every season, or we will be able to sign players who have been released from clubs higher up, because I can see a lot of players, and more than normal, being out of work and looking for a club. After this season and nearly being relegated, this is Dean Keates chance to rebuild a team with young talented players, from clubs like Stoke and Man City. We have contacts at these clubs and we need to start using them. Luckily for us we managed to bag Jarvis on a two year deal, and we still have Redmond and we have offered a deal to Davis Keillor-Dunn, who I see as an exciting prospect. We need a few young full backs in now, who have a lot of energy, remember we signed obeng at this level.

Maybe I'm just dreaming, maybe I'm being a happy clapper,, but with all this negativity going around this club at the moment, we need something to cheer us up.

I have no faith in the board or in Keates, and I believe if we did get put up for sale, this club would be a very exciting prospect for a business man looking for a club to take up the leagues and make a bit of money doing it. We are a club that could survive at league one level with the right ownership but the current board, by holding on to us the way they are, are just damaging us and I can't see us winning promotion under the current regime.

So anyone looking to buy a season ticket this year, please don't be too hard on the players, as it's not their fault, we will be in the league for another 5 years at least, and that's if we do build a team with younger players and build for the future. If we go the other way and sign journey men players front he Scottish 1st 2nd or 3rd division we could end up being relegated.
I think we will be using the loan system and could work out better than signing players on their way down on 3 year deals or from Scottish Div 1 . I still can't see how any club would sign players without any instruction as to when any games may start with a fan attendance ..unless they have a pot to piss in. Surely that is business and how it works ? Players like Danny Wright and Dan Carter are without clubs since released by Solihull - as far as I know..There are going to be a lot of players without work...Stockport have made a decent signing or two but there would be uproar at Wrexham if we signed them on deals with no idea when a ball is getting kicked

I remember Saunders trying to use 'young talent' from well run clubs higher up the leagues and I also remember it failing badly. He soon realised what's needed to get out of this league and went about putting together the squad that got us 98 points. But that costs money and this club prefers to spunk that on a school field and paying lawyers to defend their lies and cover ups.

Pep Darlington taught him everything he knows. Everyone at City knows that Darlington is really the man behind their success.
