He is mates with a few of our footie lads. He's keen as well as DK but Morecombe stopped the move in January but he is on a free now.

He does seem like a defender Keates would like. He's not going to excite the fanbase but he's solid.

Him and Pearson at CB? Pearson getting slower by the day and was never quick anyway and now a 34 year old coming. Interesting. Won't be a high press at the Racecourse next season, this is a sign we'll sit deep and invite pressure. YAY.

If he is better than Lawlor then it looks a good signing to me. If we can do that in all positions I would be very happy!

I’m no coach but I am not sure I would want my centre halves high pressing. I would be quite happy with two centre backs with experience keeping it tight IF we can sign two mobile full backs.
