It seems a lot of people are hoping the identity of the potential investors will be revealed at the SGM on Tuesday. However the background to the resolution on the WST website contains the following info:

The identity of the Investors will be made known to members in the notice of any emergency general meeting called to approve a transaction.

So it may be some time yet until we get the big reveal.

From the FAQ on the website:

By when will we need to make a decision? (referring to the sale of the club)

..if members gave us the permission to have the discussions we would look to complete that work as quickly as possible to prevent uncertainty. Ideally we would complete this work in a couple of weeks maximum

So shouldn't have to wait too long.

I'm as impatient as anyone but hopefully it will be worth the wait.

Bit disappointing that some people are setting the deal up for a fall before we've even been able to scrutinise the detail.

The new investors would defo want the Kop situation resolved , they need full capacity i would have thought , and if they are pumping in millions they would want decent training facilities for their players .

It could work the other way. If the people who are looking to take the club over are as high profile and has been suggested then it will not be a good look if the powers that be don't step up to the plate and honour any commitments made to develop in and around the ground. It may even happen quicker because if we are about to embark on a journey then there will surely be a will to be part of this. I'm not taking anything for granted though.
