I’ve never even heard of the lad let alone seen him play so I haven’t got a clue what potential he has to play that position, me I’d rather play people in their strongest positions we’ve had 14 years of square pegs in round holes.

It might have been better to employ a manager who knows the National Leagues and the players that can get you out of it. It still costs (eg for a reliable 20 goals a season striker) , but you can get defenders and the right sort of midfielder cheaply if you know the waters where you are fishing. Eg Hayden looks decent but cost a lot whereas Curtis Tilt looked even better and cost nothing.

Hes turning into Keates best signing. I think people forget that hes younger than Davies. I reckon he'll be a big player for us for a few seasons.

Hayden is a more all round player than Tilt was when he was with us IMO. Whether Tilt is now the better player than Hayden is.. that’s a different question.
