No, I live in Penrith in Sydney now, but have lived in Rockhampton before.
I actually support the NQ Cowboys in the Rugby League, but I have never been to Townsville as it was a 6hr drive from Rockhampton. I am now about 2000km away from Townsville.

Im Jeroen and i am from Wassenaar, Netherlands.
I love the show and since a few months your club.

Funny thing, i bought FC24 a few months ago and looked for a nice team to bring up from League 2 to the PL. I started out with NOTTS, but my kid destroyed my savegame. So i went to look for another team to manage. So Wrexham caught my eye and i started playing them.
Weeks later i started streaming Disney+ for the Disney movies and StarWars and then i first saw the serie Welcome to Wrexham (never heard of it before then)

In the serie they battled NOTTS for a place in EFL 2, isn't that a funny coincidence haha.

I love your story and can't get enough of it. I hope to get a pint in the Turf one day, Cheers!

Ken Barnes epithet ? Player Manager in my first season ( 61/62 ) . Best player I ever saw - Arfon . Favourite players - Micky Metcalf ( big mistake selling him to Chester , stats show goal every other game and continued to score for Chester . ) Sammy Mac and Ray ( Smudger )Smith and his buddy Steve Ingle - a pair of hard cases ! Saw those two in “ The Gate Hangs High “ one Saturday after a game - RIP both . Best Manager - John Neal . Biggest crowd I saw 30,000 v Scousers in 1963 , played on snow with all pitch markings in blue and players in cleated boots ( 3-0 to Scousers who outclassed us ) . Enjoy the ride you fans - Club got lucky getting R and R .

Forgot to post a bit about myself, but not much to say. Am a typical American newbie due to the show. I did not grow up in Wrexham, but I grew up in a town with similar qualities and folks.

Played youth soccer (yeah I know it's football to you but keeping it clear since we also have football), but in my era we did not have professional soccer/football, which I would have loved to have played. And gone to the games.

Obviously no favorite players from history.

From the current squad I do not have a favorite player, it's the overall camaraderie and togetherness as a team I find appealing.

Also of note, my experiences on here have almost universally been far more welcoming than I could reasonably expect. Very class group of folk.

Thank you and congratulations to the folks who have suffered the hard times to your new found success.
