Updates:-
1 The media team are advertising live commentary on this game.
2 A prominent Supporters group leader is saying, on another site, that he is opposed to the match but that " it's not an issue because most people don't care ".

Well, that makes us look good and sympathetic to other clubs who are going through similar troubles we did.

I am of exactly the same opinion and am disappointed with our club. I am all for staying out of politics but wherever these shysters turn up the real supporters lose out and we stand (hopefully) at the opposite end of the spectrum.

I get the political view points but why then aim it at volounter groups like the media team? Surly they are as part of the club covering this as they do every match? Hardly stating they agree or disagree just like the players etc they have to do what their there for.

Some of the most passionate and hard done to fans in football are wrexham fans but why we try and turn on our own with poisonous slander is beyond me?

Protest with your feet I'm sure the club are well aware of the strong feeling on the ill choice of this fixture, hopefully they will learn for the future BUT the Welsh FA don't seem to mind pumping cash in to Bangor so we're hardly the first or last....unfortunately whatever the reasons poor choice, don't go and contribute towards it but I assume if the media team didn't cover it they would get abuse for not doing there normal content etc? Ridiculous

No "poisonous slander " from me , merely updates on the current position. Not sure why you are attacking the FAW. Haven't they just demoted Bangor City from the WPL and deprived them of an European money-spinning tie?

By posting your "updates" your inferring they are supporting it when you clearly don't know!!

Agree FAW have made a stance, eventually as they had no choice with the accounts etc.....

Still happy for them to host domestic cup finals, Welsh ladies and youth games though aka pumping in money

I would rather we didn't play Bangor City or any club with connection to the Vaughn's. I have said its a disgrace that we are playing them and feel the board have got this wrong in this instance.

Saying that to interfere with the playing side and effectively undermine your staff is also I guess not great. Tough call I can see which on balance I think they got wrong but as always took the decision as felt best for the club.

I will be honest I wouldn't have gone anyhow but would be happy donating the ticket price to the Bangor City Supporters Association/Trust. I feel great sympathy for them.
