Keates has been assured of funds but I suppose if we could get a run going sooner than later and we can claw ourselves up to mid table,it may dictate the type of signings needed. A Russell Penn to steady the ship or look more at potential like a Jon Nolan.

I'm not one to defend them but unless bodies get shipped out that would be a perfectly acceptable stance,.especially if the loaness sign on for the rest of the season (if possible).

If they do stop all expenditure they are fools. Need to get it right but we need to off-load as many no-hopers as possible and bring in at least one very good midfielder. That is our weakest area, although a good LWB and targetman would be welcome, too.

The attendances is over 16000 down on last season at the same stage .That must be 250k plus out of the projected budget. So they might not have much choice about cutting back

True it's called living hand to mouth, personally loans would be better in January or a contract until end of season with a view to earning a better contract in the Summer if they prove themselves, to many 2 yrs contracts have been dished out under Hughes to players not fit for purpose

Only Barton and redmond have 2 year contacts everyone else expires June 2020.
