We don’t know if the takeover will even be complete by the end of the transfer window. We don’t even know who will be the manager. I like the positively on show, but I need to see a bit more before I start dreaming of watching a stream of us winning at Wembley.

Given our previous Jan transfers getting 4 or 5 decent players is never going to happen. Even if we do then we inevitably ruin them. i was thinking today about when we got Quigley in on loan and the first three games he got a decent partnership going with Boden. What happened next? They didn't play upfront together again.

We are on the brink of being taken over by 2 guys who are clearly going to turn the club upside down.

Forget what's gone on before, this club will be unrecognisable to how it's been under WST so looking back is a bit silly. It's done, it's finished.

R&R can't help how long the football authorities are taking to ratify the takeover, we just have to be patient

Will be interesting to see how much R&R have ready for after the takeover is ratified. A new CEO has if rumours are to be believed been around the club, has a new manager been approached? If so you'd hope he's watched all the games and has already lined up what he wants for the rest of the season. We are only a third of the way and one win puts us back in the playoffs

Let's hope they hit the ground running. Can't expect everything to change overnight, but it's important they do the basics straight away.

Will there be a new management team from the off!

If so, have they identified who they need to bring in?

The transfer window will be quite narrow, so no time to muck about.

Perhaps it’s someone we’ve not heard of. I wonder who have been chief execs at Portsmouth since they were bought out...

I’d guess that the agency which brokered this deal will have names of likely suitors for senior roles at the club.

I’d also like to think a chief exec and a manager have already been chosen and together they have identified half a dozen available players to sign this month so they’re hitting the ground running.
