I agree with this, with the exception of keeping vassell too. I feel thomas deserves a contract but there's no loyalty in football.
RHJ has been one of our better players this year, but that says more about or squad than it does his talent

It will depend on what system we play. He's a good wing back. I wouldn't trust him to play full back. Not sure he's good enough to play right mid.

Kelleher, Vasell, French, Young, Davies, Dior and Thomas. I think French has been a fantastic signing so would give him a long term contract. If Pearson has fully recovered then happy to give him a 1yr deal. Oh and a new management team please.

You’d only give Pearson a contract if he’s recovered yet you’d happily give Thomas a contract knowing he’s going to miss atleast 4 months of the new season

I think the more pressing issue is who decides who stays and who goes.

I think Keates should be sacked unless there's a huge turnaround over the next 2 or 3 games.At least then that will give the new manager enough games to assess the squad ahead of a crucial summer.

Not sure about Ruthers and Pearson. Would love to keep them but are they players to build an improving team upon ?

Yeah I think Ruthers is of the right age and ability to build a team around him.

Whoever we keep, we need to progress as a club to this, a reserve team and a youth team. Won’t happen overnight, but hopefully within a couple of seasons.

Gives us some strength in depth, players playing games when not in the first team, and developing young players to grow at the club, into the reserves and then the first team.
