Thought bickerstaff has always looked pacey tbh. Certainly in winning the pen tonight and a few other times running at defenders.

Very assured performance. A few of those lads really staking a claim which is great to see

Yeah, really strong performance all round. Not sure I can see Okonkwo being displaced this season, but McNicholas looked very assured and I'd love to see him as our number 2, and potential number 1 if we aren't able to keep AO for 24/25. Jordan was superb, and everyone else good to very good.

I'd say JD , Tunicliffe and Bickerstaff certainly did ( for a match day squad place if not a starting place ) . The keeper certainly looks a good one for their future and Bryce looked worth persisting with in the hope he can get over his injuries .Boyle was better than we've seen him so far too & Cleworth looked like a player far beyond his years

The rest were solid for sure but probably at or around the level they should be and not really pushing for a place in the league squad

Watching the game on TV, the ground looked empty I'm sure the could of given us more tickets.

Bickers doesn't look quick but for the pen he left their centre half for dead, helped by his upper body strength. Similar attributes to Mullin, so definately the potential to keep working at.

I'm surprised 3700 was given, didn't look like 2100 Crewe fans there to me !

Watch the livestream and quite impressed.

McNicholas looks very assured.

J Davies and Cleworth both played well, too.

No one was less than a (7) but don't think Tunnicliffe is fit enough yet to start.

Pleased for Hosannah. Fingers crossed he stays fit.

Such a strong second string, with a couple who could get in the 22 namely McNicholas and Bryce.
JD impressive MoM for me. Good showings from all. Great that Tunni got 90 minutes.
Bickerstaff showed what he can do including outpacing his defender. Dare I say that Macca played well?
My wishes going forward:
JD gets a start
Bryce stays fit until January
Tunni builds fitness and returns to first team
McNicholas becomes a No 2 option
Bickerstaff displaces Dalby on the bench
