Its asset stripping and I agree with your last sentence entirely.

Unfortunately it was all legal and above board so it cannot be classed as stealing.

In fact I'd be careful to call it that on a public forum as we all know too well they wouldn't think twice about taking legal action.

Life would be better if people got half as angry about the kind of things businessmen get up to legally as they do about footballers who try their best but aren't very good. The deal is done and there's no going back but it's amazing how people can just write it off dispassionately yet still be banging on about piffle like Dom Vose being sold.

It would be nice if we could have some link up with them and use it again in the future, you never know I suppose.

I was convinced that NEWI would sit on it and eventually hope to gain planning permission sometime in the future and make a fortune from the land, so this plan is probably the lesser of 2 evils.

Of course Moss and Roberts did us over.No-one , least of all me (hated by both ), is disputing that fact. The point is that fans, on the advice of the WST board , were wrong to trust them. Morally they were bankrupt but they , as far as I am aware, kept within legal boundaries.
Time to move on and welcome the FAW plans?
Thank you.

If the FAW include the club in their plans, and allow us to use the facilities, then I agree. Let's hope that they do.

Wow. Who made you judge and jury to what should or shouldn't be discussed on here?

At the time I believe everyone was very angry. Its happened now and its gone, there's nothing anyone can do about it but you advocate people getting all worked up over this all over again? What's the point in that?

Someone started a thread about Vose being available, with him being an ex player it could be a possibility. So to dismiss it as piffle shows a certain snobbery on your part.

That is what it boils down to for me.
Because we had been through all the Guterman/Hamilton shenanigans it seemed like a welcome relief when Moss took over the club back in 2006, while it wasn't ideal at least we thought it was a change from what had gone on here over the last 5 years or so!

People put their trust in someone who went on to let them down, it was not to do with apathy or anything else, we had a group of people fighting our corner (The Supporters Trust) but in the end we just didn't have enough of us organised at that time to make enough of a difference, we didn't have the numbers and we didn't have the readies.

Luckily for us in the summer of 2011 enough people got organised and together and made a difference, 6 years later we are still here and hopefully can thrive on the field to go along with the great support that the club gets.

I don't expect the Welsh FA to do anything for us to be honest, in the end it's down to us to make the difference, things like Build The Budget, Sponsorships and supporting the club at the gate.

I can't spend too much time replying to you, I've got to fix my irony metre that has just exploded.
