Having seen the Wrexham edited highlights...

Both their goals came from free kicks given against us that were never free kicks.

Carrington booking was very harsh.

Jennings booking a complete joke.

Manny's booking for protesting the free kick when he cleanly got the ball was
again a joke. What a superb tackle and not from behind, he was just stronger than the attacker.

Roberts booking was fair enough as he took their player out.

It was never a penalty or even a free kick as their player was going down before Manny got close.

Carrington was not in the face of the referee or angry. It looked like he was just explaining the rules to the ref.

How their player didn't get booked (or worse) for leading elbow first into the header with Pearson is beyond belief.

Then Pearson gets dragged down in the box followed by another Wrexham player from the resulting free kick, and no foul given.

Yes we may have played pants, but looking at the highlights, this is probably the worst refereeing performance I can ever recall.

Sam Allison needs to be reprimanded by the referee assessors and never allowed to officiate again.

I am going to Email the cheat and send him a link to the Wrexham highlights and see what reply comes back.

If we appeal the red card, can they downgrade it to a yellow or does it get completely rescinded?
Can Manny potentially still be banned for 1 game then with his 2 yellows ?

He didn't get two yellows it was a straight red for the tackle and penalty.

The where similar incidents on match of the day I think one player didn't even get booked for giving away a penalty.

I've just watched a similar incident where Pigott committed an elbow led assault on Pearson. That didn't get a booking, or it seems, even a talking to by the "referee".

Oh and I hope you don't mind but I've also edited your post for accuracy, unless you were at the game, saw more of his display and think he did his job properly, in which case I apologise.

Wow. That was a poor refereeing display. Carrington's first booking was laughable. That kind of challenge happens many times during a game and not even free kicks are awarded.

If he was gobbing off for the second, well that is his own stupid fault.

As for the penalty..What penalty? Manny and their attacker are both stretching for the ball, Manny's foot appears to get contact as their striker is going to shoot. The ball gets stuck between them, they both go down. No penalty IMO. Certainly no card.

We still look soft though and we need to steel up and get some cohesion. Teams are rolling us over.
