And as a fan who has lived literally thousands of miles away and used RP I do understand what he means but the reasons for the changes have been explained. It isnt how I want it however as with most things a minority can spoil things.

This thread is a good example of some great interesting stuff that can be posted if people want to

I hope more do, and those who try and prevent decent stuff will be weeded out.

Posting once a month wont kill you. Furthermore you are adding the website, which you want to read.

You dont even have to comment on Wrexham, there is enough content on here to comment on.

To say being called a lurker is offensive (its not an offensive term in the context of internet posting, look it up) is very melodramatic.

Having been an attending supporter since since 1943 - the 1st game I think included johnny hancocks, cliff Duns(Sunderland) Billy Whitlaw all guesting for Wrexham stationed in N.Wales+many other top players.Obviously I could recall many who have already been mentioned and the boys pen was a unforgettable and joyous experience.I do have to mention, however,Peter Thompson.I did my National Service in the RAF with Peter and the late Keith Mathews from Llay who also played for Wrexham, mainly the reserves but many for the 1st team. We were great friends and after the game spent many social Sat.nights with other 1st teamers in (wait for it)The Pendine Hotel now a Care Home. Peter was a CF ,his speed was phenominal and he soon spotted by Derby County who signed him .Keith and Peter played for theStation 1st team I struggled for the 2nds Keith recommended Pete to the then manager Cliff Lloyd who signed him on before I believe, Stan Cullis, who regularly watched our matches on Wed.afternoons.Favourite managers-Ken Barnes,Brian Flynn,Den Smith.Early players-Georgie Jones,GeorgeEvans,Johnny Anderson,NormanSharp Gordon Bremner,Billy Tunnicliffe,Clive Colbridge.etc.etc.etc. I am lucky enough to have many many happy memories but have to say beating Boston Utd to remain in the Football League was the happiest.I,a grown man, cried with relief.Regrettably The lesson was totally ignored, and the rest is history.

No problem, as long as the first part of your post is not compulsory!

I've been a fan since I was 15 - missed a few years in between then and now because of family. Have been a season ticket holder for 6 seasons now. My favourite player is Neil Ashton as he puts in a good shift every game.

I've supported Wrexham since August 1969 when we moved as a family from Liverpool - I was 14 at the time.First game was v Exeter, we won 3-0. Only lived in the town until 1976 but have continued to support and have family still in the area - giving an opportunity for a couple of home games each season as well as attending most games in the West Country - used to be Bristol City or Rovers, now Forest Green and Salisbury (and Bath). 2 trips to Wembley last season will not be forgotten for a long time. However the 3-2 victory at White Hart Lane in 1976 probably my highlight with the 4-4 cup draw at Ashton Gate a close second. Lowlight has to be the 6-0 defeat at Bournemouth - but the 3-0 defeat at Forest Green 3 seasons back was also awful.
Favourite player was Bill Ashcroft (I went to the same school in Liverpool as Bill, Bob Scott and Pete Smith - they were 2 years ahead of me and part of a very good school team). Pete only played for the reserves but I'm sure he would be first name on the sheet for the current team.
Don't get enough time to comment (but would not wish to be deactivated).

First time poster here.
Not a Wrexham fan , but I have been watching this forum for a few years now as a Newport County Season Ticket holder and still "lurk" to see how you are doing
